Simple wall protection in a single piece

Kitchen glass creates a flat surface behind the worktop and fits easily between the base and wall units. It is made to the finished kitchen, so that the edges, sockets and switches land where they are meant to.

A single surface reduces the number of visible joints and ties the working zone to the colours of the fronts, the wall and the lighting. Before deciding it is worth looking at samples in the real light of the kitchen, because the same shade can behave differently under daylight and artificial light.

Material and construction

The intended specifications are Tempered glass 6 mm · Tempered lacquered glass 6 mm, and the appearance is chosen from lacquered in RAL colours · digital printing. At the survey we record every opening, the finished height of the worktop and the position of the appliances. The suitability of the details near heat sources is assessed against the actual kitchen layout.

The edges against the units and the method of bonding are agreed before manufacture, so that fitting goes ahead without later alterations to finished glass.

How it works

1. Send us a photograph of the wall and basic measurements once the kitchen is installed.
2. We precisely measure the surfaces, the edges and the positions of every unit.
3. We confirm the colour or the motif and the drawing of the openings.
4. We fit the glass and check the joints against the worktop and the units.
